Volunteering At Local Government Mediation Center

I am a graduate of the Southern Methodist University Master of Arts program in Dispute Resolution. I have had to re-think my career path and think of dispute resolution in a broad sense to expand my career path. The first thing anyone thinking of entering the dispute resolution field should do is volunteer with their local county or city mediation services.

They usually offer training and you get hands on experience. You can also take my path and find a training program or educational degree program to get the academic credentials to market yourself.
