Village Market Opens In New Location

With the snip of a ribbon, two years of adversity and uncertainty came to an end, and Chatham’s only supermarket, Chatham Village Market, opened in its brand new building.

The ceremony was an emotional one for the market’s owners and staff members, who wondered whether they would find a suitable location when their lease of the old A&P building next door expired in May. Co-owner Scott MacDonald said the story came to a happy conclusion because of the incredible support of the market’s customers.
