Academic Conflict Resolution Training

I am based in Italy and currently working in Bradford, UK as a lecturer in conflict resolution. In Italy mediation is a relatively new field, and I helped set up a one-year conflict resolution - mediation master at the university of Florence for a couple of years.

Most of our participants where already in a profession - mostly educational. We stressed the fact that the mediators' profession as such is in the making and did not sell empty promises. I agree very much that one has to broaden the perspective.
