Oyster Pond is a relatively small beach with very warm and calm waters. It is located on a saltwater inlet, connected to Nantucket Sound through Oyster River, which runs into Stage Harbor at the end of Harding's Beach

Located near downtown it has scenic views. A formal picnic area is located behind the beach equipped with picnic tables, charcoal grills, and benches, enough to suit 4 families or so. The addition of beach-oriented barbecuing potential gives Oyster Pond good potential for a slot in your summer vacation.

There is free parking for about 40 cars, restrooms and a lifeguard on duty.

Directions: Take Route 28 into town. At the rotary turn on Stage Harbor Road. Oyster Pond will be on your right.
